Day 3 - Pet Pals 6th Annual 19 Days of Christmas Giveaways

Baby it is cold outside.

We better giveaway something that will help you warm up. That is, will help you warm up if you put something warm inside of it.

Before Day 3 item is posted, I (Pet Pal Keli) have to show you my helper. A couple months back, there was a loss in a family and this kitty kat needed a new home. This sweet girl was rescued from a shelter and there was no way we could see her go back there, so Pet Pal Keli's family took her in no questions asked. Puck the Kitty is her name. She thinks she is helping me out sooooo much by looking at me with those big blues while sitting on my.................keyboard! We LOVE her dearly (even though she does get very sassy, some call it catitude)!

Ok back to the giveaway! Take a look at what Pet Pals is giving away for Day 3! This is a 16 ounce thermal insulated, temperature retention, 100% stainless steel inside and out mug that says, "LIVE, LOVE, BARK" on both sides! Really, it is neat! Was purchased at Lewis in Sioux Falls, they have (or had) so many neat mugs there, was hard to choose. I think I stood there by the display for over 15 minutes trying to decided, LOL! Since I couldn't decided between this one and another one, I bought both. So make sure you stayed tuned to the giveaways!

Head over to Pet Pals Facebook page, look for the picture below and simply click "like" to be entered. Also, continue to read this blog post for additional entries into the drawing.

For 5 additional entries into Day 3 giveaway answer the following question and post a picture of your pet kid(s) in the comments under the above photo on Facebook:

According to some new research---Just the thought or a picture of a person's pet has the unique ability to comfort people. Does a picture or thought of you pet kid(s) help you?

Joy Reif Perkins - you are the WINNER of Day 2 giveaway!! Please email Pet Pals at info@HirePetPals.com. The subject of the email should read, Day 2 Winner!
Day 3 giveaway will be posted shortly!

January - Dog Training Month - Learning how to "Sit"

In honor of Dog Training Month, Pet Pals is giving away this bag of Zukes!

All you have to do is post a picture or video of your pup learning,

training or sitting pretty on Pet Pals Facebook Page and you'll be

entered to win this bag of treats!!! Or you can post a video or pic in

 the comment section below.

Pet Pal Keli and her family recently added a Jack Russell Terrier,

Kadian, to the family!

We LOVE her so much. This breed of dog is very active, has

tons of energy, and is very smart. We have yet to run her out of

energy. Training her has been challenging yet, fun for all of us.

You see, to have this little active

wiggle butt sit too long, is very hard and we do not expect that,

since she is still baby (almost 16 weeks old).

We are so proud of her that she has learned the concept and

understands what the sit command is and means!

In the video below, you will see a unedited video of Kadian in raw

form, sitting or should I say, trying to sit. I wanted to show you

this, simply because when in training we firmly believe

every positive step in the training process is a step in the right

direction. Kadian was asked to sit, she got distracted by her own

shadow (had to check it out) and I redirected. Once she sat, with

her butt on the floor and all four paws, I rewarded with positive

reinforcement and with a treat (a Zukes).

Always end training on a positive note!

We cannot wait to see your pictures and videos!
